Alfred Blake is the Founder of Rule Breaker University, author of The Students Handbook to Breaking All The Rules, mentor and inspiration. Having overcome many hardships in his life, Blake serves as an inspiration to the students in which he serves.
While we’d like to remain comfortable in our pursuit of success, there is something about being innovative that involves a certain amount of risk. In that risk, conventional ways are destroyed and traditional methods are questioned. A necessary perspective that few are willing to embrace, Alfred is creating a platform for students that will allow to them to carry that message into their hearts and impact their lives. Alfred is challenging students to embrace the paradigm shift of “breaking rules to break records”. Often, the phrase ‘breaking rules’ carries a negative connotation but it is one that Blake uses to encourage students to face the number one barrier to success: themselves.
“By the time I was in the tenth grade I was expelled from three schools and paid dearly for the mistakes that I'd made. Confronted with two potential paths- success or failure, I channeled my rebellious attitude into a positive resource for students, parents, mentors and educators alike.” The same model of success that he has created for others has already been tested through his own personal experiences. This underlying passion is what adds fuel to Alfred’s already bright flame. “It took me 8 years to finish a 4 year degree. Many people use the trite saying that they are not supposed to be where they are today due to their past, but I believe that I am exactly where I need to be. Everything that I have experienced and encountered has prepared me to assist and inspire students to reach their unlimited potential.”
